Some time ago, before the birth of my second child, a colleague of mine told me they think that there is a connection between the moon and the possibility of giving birth and that I just had to look up the next full moon to know when the child is due.

This year, I participated in the Hermannslauf, a public run from Detmold to Bielefeld. Since then, I wanted to have a look at the results in more detail.
